What is the difference between headshots and portraits?
Headshots are chest-up photographs for LinkedIn, company websites and professional profiles. Portraits include wider framing, seated images and full-length photographs. Choose a branding session when you need a varied collection for your website and marketing.
How much does a professional headshot cost?
Standard headshot sessions start at $225. Compare the current packages, included edited images and session lengths on our pricing page. You can select a package and check available appointments online.
Do you photograph company teams?
Yes. We photograph individual staff headshots, consistent headshots for whole companies, team portraits and composite team photographs. Sessions can take place in our Sarasota studio or at your office.
Do you offer actor and talent headshots?
Yes. Actor and talent sessions focus on expression and useful looks for auditions, casting profiles and agency submissions. Review our talent sessions and preparation guide to choose your options.
What does a branding session include?
Branding sessions create a collection for your professional identity, combining relevant headshots, portraits and lifestyle or environmental images. Personal and business branding packages have different coverage and deliverables; compare the inclusions before booking.
Preparing and receiving your photographs
Will you help me with posing?
Yes. We guide your posture, posing and expression throughout the session. You do not need experience in front of the camera.
What should I wear?
Bring clean, well-fitting professional clothing that reflects your role. Simple colors and minimal distracting patterns help keep attention on your face. For teams, agree on a consistent level of formality before the session.
Can I see the photographs during the session?
Yes. Instant image review helps us choose expressions, adjust your look and make decisions together while you are in the studio.
Do you retouch the images?
Included final edits receive natural retouching. We address distractions such as temporary blemishes and flyaway hairs while keeping your appearance recognizable. See our retouching page for details.
When will I receive my images?
If you choose your images with us in person, we can deliver your finished retouched images the same day. If you prefer to review the images and choose later, you can usually expect delivery within 24–48 hours after you submit your selections.
Can you match a new employee to our existing headshots?
Yes. Individual staff sessions can help maintain a consistent look as your team grows. Bring a reference to the existing lighting, background and crop so we can plan the match.
Visiting and booking
Where is the studio?
SRQ Headshots is at 2030 Harvard Street, Unit C, Sarasota, FL 34237. We serve professionals and companies from Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton and Venice. Find the map and directions on our contact page.
What are your hours?
Appointments are available seven days a week. Check the online calendar for session times and availability. Please call before stopping by without an appointment because we may be photographing a client or working on location.
Can you come to our office?
Yes. We offer on-location photography. Any applicable location fee should be included in the booking total. Choose the appropriate location option when booking.
How do I book?
Visit Pricing & Booking, select your package and choose an available appointment. You can book online without calling to confirm a session time.
When is payment due?
The required booking payment is collected when you reserve your appointment and is applied toward your session total. Your booking page shows the amount due to reserve your chosen session. Any remaining balance is due directly after the shoot. We accept all major credit cards.
